Undefined For Different Reasons

See Dr. Peterson's latest reply for the actual question.
C'mon harpazo. Your deflections are so obvious. You know that's not what I asked about, and I'm not talking to Dr. Peterson. I'm talking to you.

That was going to be my next suggestion, and I had almost posted as Dr. Peterson did -- that you don't need to do any extra-curricular activites to begin reviewing algebra. It is review, correct? Start with Chapter 1.

Otis,

1. I am simply reviewing material learned long ago, you know, back in my college days.

2. I want to follow the sequence of the textbook, which includes the R Sections. Here R means Review of topics Sullivan feels are important to know before Chapter 1.

3. Tomorrow morning, we move on to R.2. I do not have the actual textbook with me at this time as I am about to begin my overnight work at the museum.

4. This is a math site. I posted the question to simply get insight from members who are more advanced in mathematics than I am.

Read my latest reply to yours. I am not trying to deviate from the topic at hand. I am actually at the job now 45 minutes before starting my overnight shift. We can continue this discussion at another time.

… I want to follow the … Review of topics Sullivan feels are important to know before Chapter 1 …
Okay, but skip the essay questions. I disagree with Sullivan, if he thinks it's important for students to research those different reasons before starting algebra. (I'm thinking that 0/0 doesn't even appear elsewhere in that book.)

You have a lot of catching up to do, and, from what you've told us several times before, you don't have time for research. Please follow Dr. Peterson's suggestion; stick to the exercises for which lessons are provided.

Ok. I will stick to the exercises.

Why? It doesn't answer my question.

I am not trying to deviate from [your question about what the book says] …
Yes you are, but it doesn't matter anymore because I retract the question. You can respond to the question in your other thread, instead. :)
