Where do you need help? Please show your work, or at least your thoughts so we can tell what to suggest.
Now, this is a transcendental equation, which probably can't be solved algebraically. It's pretty easy to solve by graphing; if you don't want to use technology, you may be able to use calculus techniques to analyze the shape of each side of the equation (or do some rearranging first), and then just try some likely solutions and show that there are no others.

I was going to suggest that you have to look for an obvious answer (although Dr Peterson would have suggested that there is one) after cleaning up the equation.
The problem is that you can't clean this up! Where did you get this problem from. Yuck!
