You should know that

\(\displaystyle 1 m^3 = 1m \cdot 1 m \cdot 1 m\)

Now replace 1 m by 100 cm:

\(\displaystyle 1 m^3 = 100 cm \cdot 100 cm \cdot 100 cm = 1.000.000 cm^3\)
