Find the frequencies f\displaystyle f and ω\displaystyle \omega of a sine-wave signal with a period of 1 ms\displaystyle 1 \ \text{ms}.

T=1×10−3 s\displaystyle T = 1 \times 10^{-3} \ \text{s}

f=1T=11×10−3=1000 Hz\displaystyle f = \frac{1}{T} = \frac{1}{1 \times 10^{-3}} = 1000 \ \text{Hz}
 
ω=2Ï€f=2Ï€1000=2000Ï€ rad/s\displaystyle \omega = 2\pi f = 2\pi 1000 = 2000\pi \ \text{rad/s}
