Arithmetic progression

No we haven't learnt that concept yet, that's why I was confused. But at least now I won't be too lost when the topic is introduced. Thank you ?

A fraction equals 0 only if the numerator is 0 (and the denominator is not)!!!! The numerator is 1! 1 divided by no number is 0. It just doesn't happen. What does happen is if you divide 1 by larger and larger numbers you can get closer and closer to 0 but you will never reach 0!
Are you really in an arithmetic course?

Yeah I got marked...
It was proven Tn=333,33.2/3^n-1
And it's a geometric series.

Think there were some slight mistakes we made.

That's not the answer to the final question, but the new amount blocked on a given day, right? (I think we all ignored the 1000 in the problem, and dealt only with the fraction blocked.)

Our Tn referred to the sum of the series (total), not the individual term (called Bn in post #8, which agrees with your Tn here after multiplying by 1000).

Yes

Yes you're right. We ignored the 1000 part.
