Are these really quadratic equations? (2/3)x^2 - (2/3)x = 0 and 6x^2 - 1 = 0

What you have posted for the first equation differs (significantly) from your picture!

While you posted:- $$.~~\frac{2}{3}x-\frac{2}{3}x=0$$Your picture shows:- $$6  \frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x=0$$
But:- $$\frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x=0   \Rightarrow  \frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x +0=0$$and
$$6x^2-1=0   \Rightarrow  6x^2+0x-1=0$$
Does that resolve your "difficulty"?
