Are these really quadratic equations? (2/3)x^2 - (2/3)x = 0 and 6x^2 - 1 = 0

What you have posted for the first equation differs (significantly) from your picture!

While you posted:-
.  23x23x=0.~~\frac{2}{3}x-\frac{2}{3}x=0Your picture shows:- 6  23x223x=06  \frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x=0
But:- 23x223x=0    23x223x+0=0\frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x=0   \Rightarrow  \frac{2}{3}x^2-\frac{2}{3}x +0=0
and
6x21=0    6x2+0x1=06x^2-1=0   \Rightarrow  6x^2+0x-1=0
Does that resolve your "difficulty"?

Difficulty resolved.
