Year 12 Calculus max/min point to find equation ( HELP PLS ! )

question: A function has a maximum turning point at x=2 and a minimum turning point at x=-1. The function passes through the point (3,10) where it has a gradient of -8. Find the equation of the function.

Hint : since your function has one local maxima and one local minima - it must be a cubic function.
