1/5 (25-5y) = 4x -9y +13

That instruction simply asks you to solve the given equation for y.

Can you do this ? You really didn't say anything about what kind of help you need.

If you need more than an explanation of the instruction, then please show some work on whatever you can try, or explain what you already know about solving equations, or try asking some specific questions. Otherwise, it's hard to know where to start helping.

My first step would be to use the Distributive Property to multiply the binomial 25 - 5y by 1/5.

1/5 (25 - 5y) = 4x - 9y + 13
5 - y = 4x - 9y + 13
8y = 4x + 8
y = x/2 + 1
