As per my picture attached, I saw in one internet page a person explaining the straight line of the equation that I inserted in the title of this thread.

What does this author mean with (x, 2x, 6) (I highlighted in yellow in the picture attached)?

Look again. What you highlighted is "(x, 2x + 6)." The y-coordinate is being rewritten
in terms of x, because y = 2x + 6.
