#4 x-5y=2
2y=6x+6

2y=6x+6

#6 2x+y=5

Re: Geometry Question

What have you done so far with #1? Where are you stumped? Since y=4x+7, just plug that into the first equation and solve that for x. Then plug the obtained value of x back into either of the equations and solve for y. If you were given any instructions as to what methods to use, those should have been included in your post.

X+y=2
y=4X+7

Hi Loren,

Thanks sooooooooooo much for helping me....the way I wrote the questions is how the teacher gave us the homework assignment...their is no other information on the paper....just what I wrote here....the first question is y=-x
y=2x-6

I know how to do this one but not the others......

Thanks So Much, Taylor

Re: Geometry Question

Thanks so much Loren for your help...this is how she has it listed on my homework assignment....the first question was like this....

y=-x
y=2x-6

This is exactly how she wrote this on our assigment....I know how to do number 1 but I am stumped on the rest of them

Thanks soooooooooo much
