please someone help me! i've totally blanked out... heres the question:

a^3x a^3y
over
a^2y+x a^2x+y

and i have to simplify it

is a^-6x-2y the answer

I'm guessing that you mean ...

[a^(3x)*a^(3y)]/[a^(2y+x)*a^(2x+y)] = a^(3x+3y)/a^(3x+3y) = 1
