I have to change y-3=0 into slope-intercept form would somone help me out.

I know how to do an equation like 5x-2y=10 because it also has x but my first equation doesn't have x so how does that change things?

5x-2y=10
-2y=-5x+10
y=5/2x-5

thx for help

Since no "x" appears in your equation, the coefficient of x must be 0:

0x + y - 3 = 0

NOW, can you put that in slope-intercept form?

slope-intercept form

hey mrspi, is y=0x+3 the correct answer and if so my slope would be 0 and my y-intercept 3 right? thx for your help, I saw my mistake. :mrgreen:
