Write each rational expression in lowest terms, help.

I don't get this at all, I'm suppose to write each rational expression in lowest terms - but the examples they gave me doesn't really help.

Here are the problems:

m6_01_q05.jpg

Can anyone show me how to solve these? I've been trying to work at them for awhile now and making no head way.

Thanks for any help! :)

In each case if is just a matter of factoring and reducing.
3z2+z=z(3z+1) and (18z+6)=6(3z+1); now reduce.

pka: I can't view the images. They appear to be behind the security "fence". (This content appears to be from Florida Virtual School's "Algebra 2" course, and I don't think we're supposed to be able to access it.)

If you can still see the exercise(s), could you please LaTeX them for us? (...if you think that would be acceptable. The student appears to be violating his school's "academic integrity" policy, but I could of course be misunderstanding the situation.)

Thank you!

Eliz.

I cannot see the first problem. Here are the other three.
\(\displaystyle \L
\begin{array}{l}
2)\;\frac{{\left( {x + 4} \right)\left( {x - 3} \right)}}{{\left( {x + 5} \right)\left( {x + 4} \right)}} \\
3)\;\frac{{3z^2 + z}}{{18z + 6}} \\
4)\;\frac{{3x^2 - 3}}{{6x - 6}} \\
\end{array}\)
