Hey everybody. Currently stuck with this problem.
Write a formula for the sum of integers 0 through x.

I really don't know where to begin. It's actually for my coding class and I haven't touched math in a really long time.
All I could tell you is that there has to be addition in there somewhere

Could the instruction "write a formula for the sum" be the same as "design an algorithm to calculate the sum"?
(Let us know, if you do not understand the difference.)
What are the prerequisites for this coding class?
