Can anyone help me to figure out these word problems?
1. You are refinishing the floor of a warehouse that is 260ft long and 210ft wide. Each 5-gallon bucket of
floor sealant costs $211 and will cover 8,800 square feet. How much will you need to spend for enough
floor sealant to finish the job?
A. $ 940
B. $ 1266
C. $ 259
D. $ 1,477
E. $ 2,321

2. As a furniture salesperson, you are asked to find the original price of an oak entertainment center that is on sale fot $560. The item is on sale for 20% off the original price of the entertainment center?

3. You are estimating the annual revenue for the business plan of your new venture. In your state, the total annual revenues for all business in your industry are about $14,687,500. Your local market represents about 16% of the state's commerce in the industry, and you intend to capture 1/8 of the local market. What is your estimated annual revenue?

Find the area of the floor. Then figure out how many buckets of sealant you will need. (Area of floor divided by 8,800 gives you this number). Of course you need to buy that many at $211 each. I don't think they will let you buy a partial bucket so you will have to round the previous number up to the next whole number. You will get one of the choices if you follow these instructions.

Original Price minus 20% of Original Price equals $560.

Your revenue should be 1/8 of 16% of the total annual revenues for all business in your industry. ("of" mena "times".)

You're obviously in serious need of classroom help. What grade are you in?
