Hi I need help with a couple of word problems. I just don't know how to get started, and some help would be nice.

After robbing a bank in Dodge City, a robber gallops off at 13 mi/h. 20 minutes later, the marshall leaves to pursue the robber at 16 mi/h. How long (in hours) does it take the marshall to catch up to the robber

Two cyclists, 72 miles apart, start riding toward each other at the same time. One cycles 2 times as fast as the other. If they meet 3 hours later, what is the speed (in mi/h) of the faster cyclist?

(I thought of using the D=RT formula for this, but i was not sure.)

What quantity of 80 per cent acid solution must be mixed with a 20 solution to produce 480 mL of a 50 per cent solution

Robbers and Marshals

Do this two ways, at least.

Point of View of the Robber. Tell his story. What is he doing, when?

Point of View of the Marshal. Tell his story. What is he doing, when?

Either way will lead to the same, unique solution.
