In the lab, Boris has two solutions that contain alcohol and is mixing them with each other. Solution A is alcohol and Solution B is alcohol. He uses milliliters of Solution A. How many milliliters of Solution B does he use, if the resulting mixture is a alcohol solution?

This problem makes little sense as is. Is that all there is to it?.

Aren't there some percentages in there somewhere?.

It is a bad idea to mix your drinks. Boris should have left the lab after using up the martinis.

Solution A is alcohol and Solution B is alcohol. The numbers are missing in this sentence. How much alcohol in each solution?

He uses milliliters of Solution A. The number of milliliters is missing in this sentence.

… if the resulting mixture is a alcohol solution Some number is missing here, too.
