If a soccer player scores 84% of his shots every time he shoots what are the odds in percentage that he misses two in a row?

If a soccer player scores 84% of his shots every time he shoots what are the odds in percentage that he misses two in a row?
According to your textbook or class-notes:

What is the definition of odds (as opposed to probability)?

What is the probability that he misses 2 in a row
What is the probability that he misses the first? What is the probability that he misses the second? How do you combine these to find the probability that he misses both the first and the second?

I don’t know where to start
The place to start is to consider what you have learned; please tell us about that, so we know what knowledge we have to build on.

In our guidelines, we ask that you give the problem completely and exactly. As it is, we do not yet know whether you are being asked for a probabilty, which frequently is expressed as a percentage, or the different concept called odds, which are usually expressed ratios. Which word does the problem use?

Nor do we know whether you know how to compute the joint probability of independent events or even whether you understand what those words mean. Do you know those things?

You need to give answers

What is the probability that this player misses a single shot?

is
Can you tell me how to start to figure it out
We have gone all around the mulberry bush because you did not read the posting guidelines and have not responded to questions.

Give the complete problem in its EXACT words.

You have said “odds” to be given in percentages. That makes no sense. Odds are ratios. Probabilities are frequently expressed as percentages. Probabilities are DIFFERENT from odds. We are on message 13 and do not yet know for certain what the problem is.

Quote the problem completely and exactly, or we can continue to waste time.

If the problem is about probability, have you heard the term “independent events”. What if anything does your text say about the joint probability of independent events?
