So, what have you done to try to solve this problem??

Step 1: NAME things!

Let m = cost of an mp3 player
Let h = cost of a set of headphones

Now, write equations to describe each purchase. For example,

four mp3 players and six sets of headphones costs $740:

4m + 6h = 740

Now, write a second equation for the other purchase.

You'll then have a system of two equations in two variables.
