I am stuck on this word problem:
A traffic helicopter pilot finds that with a tailwind her 120km trip away from the airport takes 30 minutes. On her return trip to the airport, into the wind, she finds that her trip is 10 minutes longer. What is the speed of the helicopter? What is the speed of the wind?

I don't know what to do first. Please help me.
Thank you.

First define your vatiables.

V = the helicopter speed
W = the wind speed
D = the distance covered =120km
T = the time without wind

Using V = D/T
V + W = 120km/.5hr = 240
V - W = 120km/2/3hr = 180
Adding, 2V = 420 making V = 210 and W = 30
