Bill shares a plate of brownies with friends. His friends each have 2 or more brownies than Bill. There were 33 brownies in all. How many friends are there?

What is the best way to solve this? Thanks anyone!

There is no single, numerical answer to this exercise. In other words, there are many different answers possible.

EG: Bill ate no brownies. His two friends ate the 33 brownies.

OR, perhaps, Bill has ten friends, and everybody ate three brownies.

Do you see how there are many different answers possible?
