Word/Probability Problems please help!!!
Hi all,
I REALLY need help to get started on a few problems. Here are the problems:
1. Find the smallest positive integer, which, when divided by 3,4, or 5 will have a remainder of 2.
2. The U.S. Open Tennis Championship is a single elimination tournament. If there are 300 players entered in the champ., how many matches will be necessary do determine the champion?
3. Two cards are drawn from a standard deck. Find the probability that at least one of the cards will be a heart.
4. One bag contains 3 white marbles and 2 red marbles and a second bag contains 3 white marbles and 5 red marbles. One marble is drawn from the first bag and placed in the second bag. What is the probability that a marble now drawn from the second bag is red?
