Jon Stewart opened a post-election episode of The Daily Show by announcing that his special guest would be "the president of the USA -- the United States of Arithmetic". His guest was Nate Silver, of course.
Elsewhere, FOX News staffers and guests repeatedly called Mr. Silver names, and ridiculed him, and scoffed over the study of statistics, right through the eleventh hour -- but who's laughing now?
Ya know, folks, facts do matter. And, so does science.
If you are now reconsidering whether you ought to pay attention to facts going forward, then dump Fox Skews, and instead watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and The Rachel Maddow Show. These three outlets provide the real stories regarding what the foxes think is "fair & balanced"!
