4 students broke a ruler. Jack said it wasnt him and that Penny did it. Dan said Jack was guilty and not Penny. Penny said she was innocent and that Bev had done it. Bev said nothing. If Jack, Dan and Penny had each made one true comment and one false comment, who was guilty?

Jack said it wasnt him (T) and that Penny did it (F)

Dan said Jack was guilty (F) and not Penny (T)

Penny said she was innocent (T) and that Bev had done it (F)

So bad boy Dan broke the ruler...see it?

If Dan's and Penny's T's were F's, then Dan's F would be T: Jack did it
But at same time, Penny's F would be T: Bev did it
But only one student did it.
