Yo guys
- casio graph 35+
- texas ti 83 premium
- texas ti spire cx 2
- casio fx 991es plus
I actually bought the casio graph 35+ yesterday. Finding a second hand was very easy. Because this model is one of the few that has an exam mode integrated. Which means teacher examiners can set it before the exam start so that you cannot read saved lessons and cheat. The other model that has this option is texas ti 83 premium.
Those two calculators are great becausr they do graphs but also can be used during exams.
Now what I hated about my casio graph 35 is it only offers a eng si mode not eng. And those must be set in the menu theres no press key for that. Likewise i find it disturbing that not all keys are present.
I dont know about the ti nspire it seems like a high end version of the other two.
I didnt talk about the python mode of the ti 83 premium because it seems weird that youd wanna code on a small device like that. So im totally disregarding this specification.
Now theres the fx991. This one cant be found second hand. But damn did you see how many function keys are in direct access ?? Did you see the eng button ?? Dyou know this calculator display the real eng result not just eng si which is precious for engineers. Of course there isnt graphics but dyou really need graphs for technical stuff ?
I feel like i should have bought that one for electronics as much as for pure maths.
What about you guys ? Whats your favorite choice
