Hey there, well I want to start off by saying im a clever smart young adult. but all my life math has ben holding me back. I droped out of high school, and never payed attention to math. Big mistake, now I barely know my multiplication, I dont know division at all and I do strugle with adding and subtracting in the higher digits. my goal is to eliminate this issue. I want to be amazing in math, I want to be able to get a job dealing with math or be able to caculate something instantly. rather then having to sit down and work a simple problem on paper for 20minutes. My question is where do I start? math right now is a foreign language to me. Im not sure how they teach in school, or what would be the best approach to this. any suggestions? thanks!

My advice to you would be to go back to school. Finish your high school education either by attending regular classes or getting an equivalency diploma through some agency outside of the public school system. There are many options available to you if you take the initiative and have the perservence to reach your goals.

sadly it will have to wait then. My current situation I am unemployed and have no money comming in or out. Do you know a link for home schooling math? That seems to be my best chance as of right now. thanks for the replys by the way.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a free lunch, so GED education will probably cost you something. Check with your Employment Agency. They should have info on classes (maybe free) or advise you about other options. You can google all kinds of free tutoring on the internet including free GED prep if you want a head start. Good luck.
