My Answer: ABCD is a rectangle because it have four right angles, opposite sides are congruent & opposite sides are parallel.
am i correct? if i am wrong, can you tell me what it is?

P.s. the retangle is a bit skewed, but if you draw it on paper its a rectangle....
Thanks!

You say that you have determined that the quadrilateral has four right angles. How did you do this? (Writing down one's work is customarily "how" one shows one's work and reasoning.)

Please be complete. Thank you! :D

I dont remember how i determined it was a rectangle...
i dont know how or why i know its a rectangle, i just do.
thats why i asked how to i justify my answer...

If you're unable to at least calculate the lengths of the 4 sides, you need classroom help.

I'm sorry, but this makes no mathematical sense; either one knows (because one has shown it, and can use the same steps and reasoning to re-show it), or one does not know. Perhaps this is your medication talking again...?

Please wait a few hours (allowing the effects wear off a bit) before approaching this exercise again. You may find it helpful to review whatever papers you have lying around your sick-bed, as the work you did last time could easily reside there.

In addition, you were told, a week ago, how to prove the angle measures. You could try following those instructions, if you can't find the work you did before. Thank you! :D

Dude, im only taking tylonal (spelling?)
and im not crazy. you people are so judgemental (mostly mental... lol. jk)
y do you guys HAVE to be so rude?

Hi Lectro. Please stop writing that we're rude. We're trying to help you, but it's your assignment, OK? Here are some hints...

1. What are the coordinates of the four points?

2. Using two at a time, find the slopes of the four sides of this figure. What are they? Write them here:

3. If the two lines are parallel, their slopes are (a) the same, (b) different ________.

4. If two lines are perpendicular and form a right angle, their slopes are _______.

Now, please don't make us make up assignments for you. That is disrespectful. We all have jobs, and this board is a volunteer thing for us. If you keep saying people are rude, you will find us much less willing to help.

If you don't know how to prove you have a rectangle after all these people have tried to help you, please try to find help somewhere else.
