weighted grades: how to find the percent weight for each...?

How can I find the % weight for each homework / quiz and test with this data?

I have an 89 in the class

15 homework assignments with an average of 100
2 quiz with an average of 94
1 test with an average of 81

would I have to setup a system of equations?

Only one item below the average is a good clue, but generally you have insufficient information. One could guess, but the best source of this information should be in you syllabus, which you should have received at the beginning of the class.
