Hi all!

I have a stack of wedge-shaped bricks and I’m trying to calculate the size of a ring they would form.
How can I calculate the circumference these bricks would make, if i put them side by side? Short side pointing in and long side out of course.
Bricks are 69 mm on the longer side and 59 mm on shorter. Diameter is 123 mm.

Thank you for your help, Lauri

Draw the brick. Extend the long sides until they meet. The intersection point is the center of the ring. The two triangles are similar. Set up an equation and solve it to get the radius. Then calculate the circumference.

Super! Thank you Farzin, now I can calculate how much to add extra mortar to make 100cm or 110cm pizza oven! ??
