I work in the wastewater field. The math used for process control of the treatment system is difficult for me due to a learning disability. I think the falls under algebra but I am not sure.
I measured a flow of water at 6 ounces over a 10 second time period. I multiplied that 6oz by 6 to get 36oz/min. I need to get that 36oz/min to gallons/min. We assume this water flows for 5 hours which is 300 minutes. So the end answer I need is how much flow does 36oz/min equal in gallons over 300 minutes? I am actually looking for how to work the problem than for someone to tell me the answer. Thanks and if this doesn't make sense or is in the wrong category, I apologize.
