Find the volume , to the nearest hundredth , of a cone with a slant height 13 feet and radius 5 feet.

then

V = 1/3 pi r^2 h
V = 1/3 pi (5)^2 (13)
V = 1/3 pi (25)(13)
V = 1/3 pi (325)
V = 1/3 (1021.01761)
V = 340.3329203
V = 340.33 ft^2

The exercise says that the slant height is 13, not that the height (straight up the center) is 13. Don't you need to find the height "h" first?
