Rain water from the flat roof of a building 20m by 5m flows into a cylindrical tank of diameter 2m. Find the increase in the depth of the water in the tank after 11mm of rain.

thanks in advance

If 11 mm = 0.11 cm = 0.00011 m of rain fell on the roof, what volume of water is this?

If the diameter of the tank is 2 m = 200 cm, what is the radius? What is the cross-sectional area?

Given the volume of water, what must the height in the cylinder be?

Eliz.
