My utility function is sqrt(20000L - 20000L^2). Solve for L? (as in what is the highest value of L)

Thank you so much!

I cannot quite understand your problem.

Please post the exact problem. Does the problem ask you to find the value of L, for which the utility function is maximum?

Please share with us your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we know where to begin to help you.

Just guessing, but it sounds like you need to find the maximum value of sqrt(20000L - 20000L^2). This is equivalent to find the maximum value of P = 20000L - 20000L^2. Take the derivative and set it equal to 0, then solve for L.
