vertical line that passes through points (2, 5)?

It would be x = 2, but why would it be?

Because... if you graphed the line x = 2, first of all you would see the graph as a vertical line, because for every value of y, x would equal 2. So that also means that when y equals 5, x would equal 2, or that the vertical line, x = 2 passes through the point (2,5). If you graphed the line y = 2, you would have a horizontal line which for all values of x, would have a y-value of 2.

awesome_m,

sqtpepper has bailed you out, not requiring you to make a commitment. :( You must learn the material. Commit yourself to being right or leaning why you were not. No more of this wisht-washy stuff. :)

Here's a casual scale to consider:

Just Plain Irritating - I have no clue!

Wishy-washy - I'm not sure this is right.

A little confidence - I think this is right

Confidence - I believe this is the answer, and here is why I believe it...

Misplaced Confidence - This is the answer and anyone who says it isn't is an idiot.
