how do I solve s = 100t/(t + 1)
im new to this math can you make it really simple for me if you can

So you are trying derive an expression for velocity - while you are given the position as a function of time.

How was it explained in your class without using calculus?

What do you mean by "solve"?
Do you mean find t in terms of s?
OR
Do you need to find the velocity function (as in your subject heading)?

Did Subhotosh Khan guess correctly, that "s" is the position, as a function of time "t"? And that, by "solving this function", you meant "find this other function which is derived from this function"?

And, if so, and since your class hasn't yet covered differentiation, what method have you been given for this sort of exercise? For instance, are you supposed to be doing something with limits?

If you have not learned how to take a derivative yet there is really only one method to solve this problem that i believe is taught prominently

As the above poster mentioned, it has to do with take a limit of a specific function.
