I have another question which is similar to my last one.

A car makes a turn on a banked road. If the road is banked at 10 degrees show that a vector parallel to the road is
<cos 10, sin 10>...

How do I do this?

sketch a pair of coordinate axes.

sketch the bank of the road such that it makes a 10 degree angle w/r to the + x-axis.
start the bank at the origin and draw it up and to the right in quad I.

draw a vector parallel to this banked surface pointing up and to the right.

if the magnitude of this vector is L, then its x-component is Lcos(10) and its y-component is Lsin(10) ... L could have a magnitude of 1, couldn't it?
