Pls help me with question no.12(b)? i think i already do know what im supposed to do but I couldn’t get the answer ? pls help!

Where are you stuck? It is rather hard to read your handwriting, so could we have the original problem from the book?

Hi Anakbulan. You did good work on part 12(a).

Your beginning work on part 12(b) looks good, also. You've developed a system of two equations, to solve for h and k.

4h = 2k

3h = 6 - 6k

You then started what looks like the 'substitution method', by solving the first equation for k. You wrote k = (4/2)h, but then stopped.

Here are the next three steps.

(1) Simplify your expression for k:

k = 2h

(2) Substitute the expression 2h for k in the second equation:

3h = 6 - 6(2h)

(3) Solve for h

Once you know h, you can calculate k. Thanks for showing your work.
