Vector parametrization of line thru (4, 0, 8) w/ dir. vector

Find a vector parametrization for the line with the given description: passes through P = (4, 0, 8), direction vector V = (1, 0, 1)

I think I can get started if I can get a bit of help. This is what I don't know: is V the direction vector that I need to find a support (S) for, such that SV passes through P?
