Using the Change of Base Formula to solve Logarithms

I have to solve 10^x=182 using the change of base formula

im not sure how to put it in that formula.... help me anyone?

There is no log in this equation, so I don't see how the change-of-base formula could be applied. Just take log-base-ten of each side, and simplify according to the usual rules.
