Using log in Algebra Problem

I have read the rules about posting mathematical problems. I will try to show what attempts I have made for this problem. Some of these problems I am not sure where exactly to start at.

Joystar77,

please do not post any problems until you have shown attempts in a thread and/or questions
about the problems. Please read these rules for posting:

Show that 3x cubed + 4x log x is O (x cubed)

After reading your other threads, it occured to me that this question has to do with "big O" notation.

This is an advanced topic. (I did not learn about big O notation until my third calculus course.)

I'm thinking that you're not ready for this exercise. You previously posted that you do not yet understand the terms "real number" and "natural number". That's middle-school math. Yet, you have also posted exercises that I would expect to see in high school or a first-year college course, and the exercise above is beyond that.

Please see my reply in this thread. I would like to understand your current math situation.
