I need help fast! I have to turn in this homework tomorrow, and I was absent so I have NO IDEA what to do!
I need to use Factoring. It says: Solve each formula in terms of the given variable. The problem is: S=L+2B ;B ( i am solving for B, not the answer, I think Its just simplifying the problem)
PLEASE HELP FAST! I need this ASAP! If you could possibly explain how to do it, it would be appreciated.
THANKS SO MUCH! :D

S = L+ 2B

Look at this example:

10 = 4 + (2 *3)

How would yoiu make 3 the subjuect.

Subtract 4 from both sides

6 = 2*3

Then divide both sides by 2

3 = 3

So with

S = L+ 2B

Subtract L from both sides.

S - L = 2B

Then divide both sides by 2

(S - L)/2 = B
