URGENT help needed with a surface area/factoring polynomial!

I am currently stuck on a homework problem and really could use some help.. heres the problem A birck manufacturer makes bricks with the length and width that are 3 inches longer than the height. let A equal the height of the brick. find the polynomial that represents the surface area of the brick....

the first question is find the surface area of this brick

and the second part is to factor the polynomial above..

Thanks for your time, however I still am completly clueless. We went over this in the beginning of the semester but its finals week now and I completly spaced it! its not in my notes and I cannot find help online
