I'm doing a unit review for an old unit I forgot to write the chapter test for. Can anybody tell me if I'm on the right track with my diagrams and listed elements? This was 2 units back so I'm having a bit of difficulty remembering whats what.

(2) Your answers are correct.

(1-a) Sets N and P look good, but you're missing an element in U, and E is missing three elements.

(1-b) The sets have the same issues, here.

(1-c) If E is a subset of P, then what other disjoint-ness relation can you state?

(1-d) The one subset-hood that you've stated is correct, but you might want to clarify how this rule makes E a subset of P. Also, isn't U a set? So doesn't this create other subset-hoods?

(1-e) What does the "prime" notation mean in your book? Does it indicate "the complement of"? If so, be careful to correct the previous parts before answering this part. ;)
