If z is a standard normal random variable and A is a positive number then
P(z<-A)=P(z>A).

Is this true or false and why?

i'm having trouble understanding if it'd be true or false. If it's posible (true) I'd love an example to compare it to.

Let us start from the begining then:

what does P(z < -A) and P(z > A) mean to you? - in plain layman's words... what do you understand that those expressions are telling you?
