I need help on how to do these problems

In 24-27, solve for the smallest positive value of x

25. square root(2 cos x=2)=2

In 15-22, find, to the nearest degree, the positive values of x less than 360 degrees that satisfy the equation.

15. sin x=25

17. 5 cot x = -1

23. cos x=square root(3) sin x

in 1-8, solve for x in the interval 0 degrees<x< 90 degrees

1. 2 cos^2 x- cos x = 0

5. 2 sin^2 x = sin x

9. Find the value of x between 0 and pie/2 that satisfies the equation tan^2 x - tan x = 0

In 10-13, solve for x in the interval 0 degrees < or equal x < or equal to 360 degrees to the nearest degree

11. 3 cos^2 x = cos x

13. 3(cot^2 x + 1) = 6 cot x + 3

Please someone do some of these problem so i can understand. Thanks in advance

>25. square root(2 cos x=2)=2 >>> Typo?
>15. sin x=25 >>> -1 < sin x < 1
17. 5 cot x = -1 >>> cot x = -1/5
Tan x = -5. Use your calculator to find tan[sup:15yudmjn]-1[/sup:15yudmjn] 5. Determine in which quadrants, the cotangent is negative. Calculate the appropriate measure of the appropriate angle in those quadrants.
