i have to solve this equation 2cos3t-1=0
and i subtracted the one and divided by two so i had cos3t=1/2 so the solutions would be 3t=?/3 and 3t=5?/3
but this is where i get stuck because im not sure what to do to isolate the t
anything that might help would be really appreciated

here you just do basic simple algebra
3t=?/3
=> t= (pi/3) x (1/3)
=> t= pi/9

solve the second possibility of t in the same way
:D

Domain of this function is not restricted

So the correct answer for this part would be:

\(\displaystyle t \, = \, \pm\frac{\pi}{9} \, \pm \frac{2n}{3}\cdot \pi\) <<< This solution will include the other solution

solve the second possibility of t in the same way
