 You have to show work – Similar equations where given before and were solved \displaystyle \text{ You have to show work -- Similar equations where given before and were solved }

sinx+2=sinx\displaystyle sinx+\sqrt2=-sinx

sinx+sinx=2\displaystyle sinx+sinx=-\sqrt2

(sinx)(1+1)=2\displaystyle (sinx)(1+1)=-\sqrt2

sinx=22\displaystyle sinx=-\frac{\sqrt2}{2}

So , x =

sin(x)+2 = sin(x)\displaystyle sin(x)+\sqrt 2 \ = \ -sin(x)

2sin(x) = 2\displaystyle 2sin(x) \ = \ -\sqrt 2

sin(x) = 22\displaystyle sin(x) \ = \ \frac{-\sqrt 2}{2}

x = arcsin(22) = π4\displaystyle x \ = \ arcsin(\frac{-\sqrt 2}{2}) \ = \ \frac{-\pi}{4}
