cos y + sin x = sin y + cos x ,then dy/dx =

i got sinx + cosx / sin y + cos y as the answer. is this correct?

yes, but use proper grouping symbols in your posts to avoid confusion ...

dy/dx = (sinx + cosx)/(sin y + cos y)
