#1) Suppose cot t = -0.1 and t is in quadrant IV. Find each of the following:

sin t = ?
cos t = ?
csc ( -t) = ?
sec t = ?
tan ( -t) = ?
sin ( t + 10 pi)= ?
tan ( t + 7 pi) = ?

#2) Suppose sec t = 4 and csc t > 0 . Find each of the following:

cos t =
cos ( -t) =
cos (pi + t) =
sin ( -t) =
tan (t + pi) =

the sin & cos are easier but the cot & csc ones are giving trouble. also, when it has the (t + pi).

any suggestions?

Draw a picture. In quadrant IV, the horizontal axis is positive and the vertical axis is negative. Draw a right triangle. Use the even and odd properties of the trig functions and fundamental identities.
