i need to know the formula to take the leg lengths of a triangle and find out what the angles are.
i get alot of angles in my field of work except on the blue prints, all it tells me what the pitch is..... you know.. like 10.5 on 12. that means for every 12 inches from left to right, you go up 10.5 inches. normally i draw a line on the table and mark the points. then i project a line and use a protractor to find what angle i need. im sick of doing it that way. it doesnt always come out right and i gotta do it 2 or 3 times before im satisfied.
i remember a couple of things from highschool mathclass but i just cant remember how to do it. can someone please help
